QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience as a receptionist preferred
Excellent customer service skills required
Ability to use office technology including multi-line phone system, MS Office programs, Windows based programs, Google Suite, copier, calculator, printers, typewriter and facsimile
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Willingness to learn duties/responsibilities of all District Support employees
RESPONSIBILIITES:
Open District Support Center every morning by 8:00 a.m. and close the office every afternoon at 5:00 p.m.
Answer all incoming telephone calls and route messages to proper individuals or departments
Greet and assist individuals visiting Canyon ISD’s central administration offices
Organize and sort incoming and outgoing mail
Assist the Athletic Department with assigned tasks
Assist the Human Resources Department with assigned tasks
Handle confidential information
Other duties as assigned
