Description | QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Texas administrative certification or ability to obtain probationary certification
- Strong communication and “people” skills
- Ability and willingness to be an active and supportive part of the administrative team
- Ability and willingness to be an administrator at before/after-school activities (PTA, Parent events)
- Knowledge of common elementary disciplinary procedures
- Ability to handle stress and willingness to remain flexible, calm, and responsive in changing/fluid situations
- T-TESS Certification or ability to become certified
- Successful classroom experience
- Appropriate Certificate
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Student discipline (including parent contact person)
- T-TESS Evaluator
- Open/frequent/constructive communication with staff and counselor
- Parent liaison between staff and parents/community
- Attendance committee chair
- Campus Emergency Response Team Leader
- Administrator of ARD and Section 504 meetings for assigned grade level students
- Lunch duty, hall duty, bus duty, bus room duty
- School representative at Attendance Court
- Campus Coordinator for Section 504
- Testing Coordinator
- Work with campus PLC teams
- Participate and lead staff professional development
- Support Balanced Literacy
- Instructional coaching for teachers
- Collaboration with parents
- Support Balanced Math
- Other duties as assigned
