Description | QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to meet NCLB highly qualified status required (48 accredited college credits hours or passing score on CISD paraprofessional assessment exam)
- Experience working with students who have special emotional needs preferred

Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with supervising teacher and other Special Education personnel

Ability and Willingness to follow supervising teacher’s instructions and requests

Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, skills

Willingness and ability to follow campus/district requirements and applicable state/federal laws
- Willingness to actively participate in school activities (staff development, faculty meetings, etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide support/supervision to students with special needs in a Special Education pull-out setting

Provide support/supervision to students with special needs in a General Education Inclusion setting

Assist supervising teacher(s) as requested

Ability to respond student safety needs as required
- Other duties as assigned
