QUALIFICATIONS:

• Willingness to work in a Juvenile Detention facility

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to meet NCLB “highly qualified” requirements at a Title 1 campus

• Experience working with Secondary students prefered

• Willingness to work with at-risk/ struggling students

• Willingness to grow professionally

• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide academic support to students under teacher’s supervision

• Plan/ collaborate/work closely with teachers and facility staff members

• library

• Other duties as assigned
